Yearbook PhotosWhat time of year should you have your senior yearbook photos taken? The answer goes like this. Usually the school contacts a photographer or photography studio to carry out the task of setting up camera equipment and lighting at the high school either in the cafeteria or some designated area within the high school in San Antonio. So, what's the real story? You as a high school student have to go to the school photographer for your yearbook picture. But, guess what? You absolutely DO NOT have to be subjected to bad formal and casual senior photos from the school photographer. Whatever agreement the school made with the yearbook photographer is between them not YOU! As a high school senior you have a choice of what professional photographer you want to take your senior pictures. Update: Some schools are now allowing kids to provide yearbook photos from any photographer.

So, what about these scary letters I got in the mail? Don't pay attention to those letters you got in the mail saying "You have to go to the yearbook photographer for your cap and gown and casual portraits. It's a scare tactic. You can choose whomever you want to take your senior pictures. We have heard the same old story over and over. "We got a letter in the Summer saying we had to go to the yearbook photographer". Yes, and no! You have to go to the year book photographer if you want your "mug shot" in the school yearbook. Some of you may wonder and ask around the question "who takes the yearbook pictures" or what photographer in San Antonio takes the yearbook pictures?" "What photography studio is taking the yearbook photos for my high school?" When it comes down to it about 25% - 50% of kids don't like their yearbook photos or high school photos and start searching for a senior portrait photographer with creative skills.

Even though we don't provide year book photos we can provide a wonderful experience with our relaxed atmosphere and years of experience of creating senior portraits and unique posing along with amazing expressions you didn't know you had.

What about Invitations? What about Graduation Invitations? We provide photo invitations with envelopes. You can order those at the same time we take your senior portrait. You can combine anywhere from 2 to 3 images on your graduation invitation. We customize your invitations and announcements for you. We will help you with the proper wording. It helps to get all of the details earl in the school year as opposed to waiting until the end of the school year when there's little time.
